These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity, Torr's Exotics, concerning your access to and use of Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understaff and agree to be bound by all of these Legal Terms.

You should note that Torr's Exotics may at any time make changes to or remove part of this Services without any liability to customers for such changes. Torr's Exotics reserves the right to change these terms and conditions in the future without specifically notifying customers and continued use of the website or placing of orders after such changes shall be deemed to be acknowledgement and acceptance thereof.

A contract will only come into existence between you the customer and us once your order has been processed and dispatched.

When you as a customer place an order via this website, you warrant by placing the order that:

1. You are not a minor or otherwise legally incapable of entering into a binding contract.
2. The personal details which you give us on registration are fully complete and accurate.
3. You are not using a false name or the name of any other person or body which you are not authorised to use.

Placement of an Encounter

When you place your encounter you are doing so in acceptance of these terms and conditions and it is important that you have read them before you go ahead and book.

Animal Rotational Policy

When attending the event, please note that Torr's Exotics will make every effort to include all the animals you requested in each package. However, since they are living beings, there is a chance that they may not be able to travel on the scheduled day due to health or environmental issues. If necessary, a suitable substitute will be provided in their absence. Torr's Exotics has a strict rotational policy to make sure all animals have adequate rest between event, therefore, your chosen animal(s) may not be available.

Participants Policy

Please let Torr's Exotics know in advance if any participants have specific needs (physical impairments, behavioural issues, language barrier, etc.) so that we can make accommodations for everyone in the group.

To guarantee that each participant of the encounter gets to handle every animal, our packages have strict maximum numbers of participants. Because the package determines the staffing levels, your package cannot be modified on the day.

If more participants are present when Torr's Exotic shows up for the reservation, there will be an extra fee per person, or we retain the right to cancel if the number of people exceeds our animal safety thresholds. The entire cost of the reserved event will still be billed to you.

Hygiene Policy

Hand washing is mandatory for participants both prior to and following animal handling. Although Torr's Exotics provides hand sanitiser, it is imperative that an adequate wash facility be available at the location. Additionally, certain animals encounter may require the participants to wear gloves, which will be provided. If the required water facility are not available we have the right to cancel the event and no refunds will be given.

Venue Requirements

Torr's Exotics will require adequate space for all of participants to participate, whether your encounter is at your house or a venue. In smaller homes in particular, it is advised that furniture be moved out of the way whenever possible. Torr's Exotics is not responsible for any damage to your property we advise removing or covering any property that is at risk of being damaged.

Access to a power source is mandatory in order to provide heating to our animals. We do not provided a power source ourself and it is the responsibility of the host to make sure there is a power source. We have the right to withdraw from the event for the safety of our animals.

We ask that you keep any pets away from the encounter area, such as dogs, cats, small mammals, etc. Both their safety and the safety of our other species are at risk; snakes in particular will become extremely cautious if they detect the scent of mammals. 

Outdoor Events 

Events outside are scheduled weather permitting and are only offered in the spring and summer.
The ideal temperature range is 16–26 degrees Celsius.

Safeguarding Policy

Our safeguarding policy guarantees that none of the children or vulnerable individuals are ever left in the supervision of any member of our staff alone. Ensuring that children are attended to at the event is the duty of the parents/caregivers who made the reservation with Torr's Exotics. The animals are under the care of Torr's Exotics exclusively when they are present.

Payment Policy 

The price of any of our Events are available on our Website (www.Torrs-Exotics.co.uk) Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings in respect of which we have already sent you a Booking Confirmation, except in cases of obvious error.

You may pay for your booking online by credit and debit card. Credit and debit card payments made online through our Website are processed by a secure payment collection service. Our online payment processing is undertaken by SumUp.com

To successfully process your online booking, we will take your name, address and other details and then you will be transferred to a secure page to enter your credit or debit card details and finalise the payment process. 

Payment shall be due strictly in accordance with our standard invoice terms. The full payment of the event must be paid 7 days prior to the commencement of the Event. If the full payment is not made by the 7 days, you will be accountable for the full payment and the Event can be cancelled you less you have followed our cancellation policy. 

Cancelling an Encounter

Torr’s Exotics limited events, and many of our Events sell out. For this reason, we request that you cancel at least 7 days before your scheduled Event. This will allow us to offer your spot to another Customer. You may call us at 07838947900 between the hours of Business Hours to cancel.

Please note, we do not offer refunds on the deposit paid at the time of the booking. However, if you give us at least 7 days’ notice of your need to cancel, we will credit your payment toward another Event or a full refund given (exceeding the deposit). However, if you do not cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice, you will lose any payments you have already made.

Acceptance of an order

When an order is placed you will get an order confirmation sent to the email address you provided during checkout, containing information about order content, prices.

Liability

We try to have the information on this website as accurate as possible but we make no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding its accuracy. We also do not make any warranties regarding any matters relating to the use of this website and it is a matter for you to ensure that your own equipment is protected from viruses or other external factors.

Your rights are protected by the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980, and also the Consumer Protection Act, 2007, where you are a consumer. Nothing in this website shall affect your rights under the applicable law.

Severance

If any of these terms and conditions shall prove to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason then such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from the remaining terms and conditions which shall remain valid and enforceable.

If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
